The Mission

Team USA is the official U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. They approached Marketing Essentials Lab for a social media audit to understand the reason behind their low engagement rate. They also wanted us to create a custom strategy to help them improve both their engagement rate and their reach in the upcoming year. 

The Outcome

To help Team USA understand the reason for their low engagement rate, we first conducted an extensive social media audit of their Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok accounts. We looked at the analytics and pulled together the best performing content on each platform. Next, we took a look at their competitors’ social media presence and identified what was working for them. 

Based on the information we collected from the audit and competitor analysis, we created a custom strategy designed to help Team USA increase their engagement rate in 2022.
