MEL stands with Ukraine

At Marketing Essentials Lab, we pledge all our charitable donations to causes supporting those affected by the war in Ukraine for the foreseeable future. If you are looking for a way to support those affected by the war in Ukraine, here are five organisations working to help on the ground.

5 Ways You Can Help Ukraine

Voices of Children

Voices of Children is a Ukrainian aid organisation that provides psychological support to children who have witnessed war. The organisation employs art therapy and storytelling to support these children’s wellbeing and provide financial support to those families who have suffered due to war.

Red Cross Ukraine

The volunteers and staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross have always been committed to supporting people who find themselves in difficult living conditions or suffer from emergencies. The organisation is currently fundraising for vital aid to people during this difficult time. All funds collected will be used to help those in need, affected by armed conflict, blood collection, mobilisation of volunteers and resources, and emergency activities.

Vostok SOS

Vostok SOS is another Ukrainian organisation helping with the evacuation of people from Ukraine and providing humanitarian aid and psychosocial support. The organisation has set up hotlines for affected people, and their team on the ground in the region is working towards coordinating assistance for those in need.

Ukrainian Armed Forces

The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to open a special fundraising account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The central bank’s decision comes after the Ukrainian government imposed martial law throughout Ukraine in response to armed aggression by Russia and the renewed threat to Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.

Malteser International

Malteser International is a nonprofit based in Malta that has been active in Ukraine since 1990. Since the invasion by Russia, this organisation has been collecting ‘everyday’ supplies like medicines and cots, blankets, food, and cash to provide for those Ukrainians who were forced to flee the country.
